We tackled the protein section for the BLAD, and the first three superfoods are (drumroll, please!) salmon, eggs, and grass-fed beef. I will be cooking through the recipes over the next few months, and I can tell you right now that Heather’s photography makes me want to try them right now.
The BLAD News
Yesterday, Heather and I turned in our BLAD (book layout and design) materials for Powerful Paleo Superfoods. Our editor had requested that we choose three superfoods to start with and develop the text, recipe, and photo for each. The designers will use those entries to put together the layout, and our editor will read for content and give us feedback so we have clearer direction as we work on the rest of the book. I can’t wait to see the design—I think our publisher, Fair Winds Press, puts out really beautiful books.
We have a tentative release date of May 2014, and a lot has to happen before we have a finished book. Stay tuned for more updates along the way!
