So I know I’m supposed to encourage everyone to make healthy choices, including eating well. But I have a confession to make: on Halloween, I eat as much candy as I want. None of this “I’ll just have one piece, eat it slowly, and savor it” stuff.
It’s Halloween, people.
What I will do is limit the gorging to today, and I will only eat the candy that I really like (sorry Almond Joy and Nestle Crunch). Tomorrow, and for however long we have leftover candy, I will cut back to one or two pieces a day. And for the next few days I will eat lightly and ridiculously healthfully to make up for it. But today I will eat candy with abandon and without guilt. Happy Halloween!
